It focuses on two essential phases: Active Meditation and Open Sitting, each offering a unique approach to deepen your awareness and inner connection.

What is Meditation?

Meditation isn’t about “switching off” your thoughts or forcing the mind to stop. Instead, it’s about shifting focus—moving from the endless chatter of the mind to the wisdom and sensations of the body.

The gateway to this awareness is the breath. By slowing your breath and using mindful techniques, you naturally quiet the mind and tune in to your body’s energy, sensations, and emotions.

Phase 1: Active Meditation

Active Meditation draws from Classical Tantric techniques, using breath and attention to guide energy through the body. This active focus keeps your mind engaged, giving it a “task” so it gradually quiets down.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Use your breath to move energy through specific areas of your body.
  2. Focus your attention on these movements, allowing sensations to arise without judgment.
  3. Over time, the mind becomes still, and the connection to your body deepens.

This phase is about using intentional techniques to anchor yourself in the present moment.

Phase 2: Open Sitting

After the active phase, we transition to Open Sitting—a practice of complete surrender. There are no rules, no techniques, and no effort involved. Simply allow everything to be as it is. Our intention in this phase is simple:
“To feel everything that needs to be felt… and to see everything that needs to be seen.”
Open Sitting is about giving space for emotions, sensations, and thoughts to rise naturally, without resistance. It’s a moment of pure presence, where the body and mind are free to align and release what no longer serves you.
